Two Interviews…
After applying to a bazillion places, I have 2 interviews lined up for the next week. Well, make that 1 now. Yesterday I received an e-mail from an ad agency for a Media Assistant position group interview for next week, and the same day a call for an account management internship. Both are located at amazing advertising agencies. I’ve knocked down my account interview, I spent about half an hour there today. I’m not sure how I feel about it. On one hand I feel like I did well, on the other I feel like I crash and burned. Maybe that’s a good thing? Not sure. Being the new optimistic person I am, I feel that I will get the internship. Downside is working for free. Upside is it’s great experience. As for the other real, paying gig. That will have to wait until I do that interview next week. It would be nice to get paid for something, although not necessarily the exact area I want to work, but close enough to it. Interestingly enough they told me to bring a calculator to do a math and geography test. Seriously, I can’t remember the last time I used a calculator for anything other than figuring out how much money I have in the bank. But I always did well in Canadian Geography. Let’s hope for the best. I’m going to resort back to my full-time get splitting my time between my iMac and my couch. The iMac is the productivity zone as I like to call it. The couch is everything else.
