Weekend Wrap-Up

Weekend Wrap-Up

So kinda a random posting for today. This was one of the most random weekends ever. Firstly, walking along Bloor St. on Friday I saw the Google Maps Mobile, or whatever the official name is. It’s a car with a six lens 360 degree camera mounted on a pole. It’s use to give the street view when you use Google Maps. Secondly, in Yonge-Dundas Square we found a giant McDonald’s Coffee Cup. Must have been ten feet high. It looked like steam was coming off the top! It’s such a smart idea, everyone was taking pictures of it because it was so random! After that, we popped into Abercrombie & Fitch. We all know how you walk in and it feels like a club with the dark atmosphere and really loud music. As we walked in, I realized they were playing “Jai Ho”, the theme song from “Slumdog Millionaire.” Not the Americanized version, but the original. How random is that, the most American store ever playing a Bollywood song! Lastly, Rachel and I went in to Lush. Somehow spent over 45 minutes there. I realized that they need to have a “guy zone”, I told the woman working there that as a guy, it’s intimidating walking in there with all the pretty smells and glittery soaps. If they had a dedicated zone for guys near the front, more men would most likely shop there. That’s it for now! Last week of school this week!
