Cowtown

I arrived in Calgary on Sunday night after my journey across America and a bit of Canada. I was so happy to get out of my car. Fuelled by Monster, Rockstar and Sweet Tea I drove thousands and thousands of miles through some very far-from-civilization places. It’s been a few days now and I have a few job prospects in line. It’s not the rainfall of job offers I wished for, but at least I have a few leads. It’s nice to catch up with Craig and get to see the other members of The Goonies soon.  I expected to sleep on a couch at Craigs, and was happily surprised by a futon. Very comfy, in the living room. It’s strange to have a only a bit of the crap that I own here, with the most important thing being my iMac. I do like it here so far, so I am hoping things are going to work out. Stampede is in a few weeks, and I cannot wait.
